Hi - we're Simon & Deborah! We were born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, but have lived in the U.S. for more than 30 years - between New York, California, Texas, Tennessee, and now Colorado.

 

Our journey with food began at the Johannesburg Zoological Gardens, where Simon's family owned the catering rights for several decades. With hospitality in his blood, he chose to study Hotel and Business Management at University, which allowed him to integrate his experience in the family business with formal culinary & hospitality training. After immigrating to the U.S., we owned and operated a catering business that predominantly served the South African diplomatic community in New York. Over the years, we've combined our experience in the industry with our passion for serving friends and family, through making hand-crafted South African foods. What started as a casual hobby, has grown into a family-owned and operated business with a loyal client following.
